How is it possible that America’s MAGAZINE OF THE YEAR is so anonymous in a fashion capital like Paris?  The answer to this question stays a mystery to me.

With 75,000 samples bought, read and re-read every time an issue goes out to the news stands, this 10-year-old magazine is currently one of the hottest on the market (recently voted so in the ACE Awards). The glossy paper, colorful fashion spreads and extra-large format all come together to make V a feast for the eyes. But this party doesn’t travel much… Trying to find V in Paris is almost mission impossible, even the people working in the magazine library of Citadium, the young-fashion-streetwear temple never heard of it.
If you are lucky enough to find a copy, look carefully at the date, ’cause the latest issue arrives in Paris at least 2-3 weeks after being published in America. That, As we all know, means several fashion-light-years.

Until something changes, we have to satisfy our needs online, or make the trip to colette and get a delayed issue…
